CARD Center for Autism and Related Disabilities
CARD is a collaborative program of the University of Miami and Nova Southeastern University currently serving Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe Counties. Their mission is to optimize the potential of people living with autism and related disabilities.
CARD is one of seven state-funded, university-based outreach and support centers in Florida dedicated to this mission. Today, CARD serves over 16,000 of those families, offering free support services, information, referrals, care coordination and more.
Programs They Offer
Job SEEKers
A four-week intensive employment readiness program to help prepare adults with ASD for competitive employment.
Support Group
CARD provides a support group for Parents/Family Members of Adults with ASD.
Job Club
A monthly support group for those looking for work or are employed. Learn skills needed to find and maintain employment.
Women on the Spectrum Support Group
CARD provides a support group for women with ASD.
Social GAAIN
A social opportunity activity-based group that will meet virtually online.
